coney island swimmers

I photographed these people swimming at the beach in Coney Island. It was pretty dirty and there was lots of glass in the sand, but everybody was just really happy.

asleep in NY

this little boy was asleep on the subway. some people got on and played some really loud music but he didn't wake up.

fish in NY

wooden models of fish from the folk art museum, and loads of fish grabbing at food at the Brooklyn botanical gardens.

cemetary

Brighton cemetary is huge. The sailor's graves were all really beautiful, and the toys that were left for children were very sad.
